Getting anxious, I filled all the cups with Hydroton, and put in a couple of tomato suckers and a leggy little basil plant whose roots I washed off, just to see what would happen. Won't have any nutrient in the water until I get to the hydro store this weekend. Had to improvise some drain hole covers until I come up with a permanent solution.
